Married couple Elias and Agnes Våhlund are the mega-brains behind the hugely successful Handbook for Superheroes series. In 2017 they put on their capes and released the first instalment in the much beloved series about Lisa, a young girl living with her grandmother and who is being bullied at school, as she discovers the Handbook for Superheroes, a mysteriously uncatalogued book at her local library.

With over 1,5 million copies sold in Sweden, the series has broken the sound barrier with how quickly it gained its success. So far, the series has been translated into 23 languages, allowing children from Iceland to Albania to study the arts of superhero-ing while being thoroughly entertained.
