Jonas Lindén, born in 1974, is a Swedish designer and author. He made his picture-book debut in 2015 with Mallan, den tråkigaste dagen and has since written several picture books for children. He lives and works on Ekerö, just outside Stockholm.

Lindén has a background in graphic design and advertising, and has designed nearly 500 book covers. His everyday life, family, and the lively neighbourhood where he lives provide plenty of inspiration for his stories.

Although writing did not come naturally to him at first, storytelling has become an important and enjoyable part of his creative work. His picture books often combine humour, warmth, and an eye for the small but revealing details of children’s lives.
