Pelle wants a pet to take care of too, and when he sees there are rabbits for sale on Lillasken island, he can hardly contain his excitement. This calls for an expedition!

Tjorven and Pelle row over to the island and find long rows of rabbit hutches. Pelle’s eyes light up and he picks a spotty and very cuddly rabbit – his very own little Jocke! The trip becomes rather more adventurous than they expected when they get caught up in a storm. Tjorven drops the oars and the children end up on another island. They shelter from the rain in Teddy and Freddy’s secret hiding place – dry at last. They’re still far away from home, but luckily Båtsman is there to help!
