Jack and the Flying Toaster The Hunt for Jack series/Jakten På Jack Trolldom i Gamla Stan
Jack Waldemar Nilsson knows that this is going to be the worst summer ever. After all, you can’t expect much when you’re an orphan. He has spent the last nine years living with various relatives and staying at some horrid orphanages. Now he’s on his way to the city to stay with yet another relative. He’s not sure who though. And there’s plenty more he doesn’t know! Join Jack as he meets folklore figures and learns that his parents may well still be alive.
Just hours after Jack arrives in Stockholm, he finds himself right in the middle of a thrilling adventure – he’s being chased through the city by werewolves, mountain trolls and other scary creatures from Swedish folklore. But luckily his Aunt Betty and the old wight Rurik are right by his side. And the Book of Witchcraft of course. The book was written by Malin Matsdotter, the
last witch, who was burned at the stake in 1676. Now, more than three hundred years later, Jack plans to vuse the same book to find his parents.
