Loranga Loranga/Loranga Loranga
Loranga is the father of Masarin. They live together on a farm where they do a little as they please. Loranga doesn’t want to work, because he can’t imagine ruining his best years. Also living on the farm is Loranga’s father, Dartanjang, who is rather thin and dishevelled. One day he’s a plumber, the next a dog, and sometimes he’s himself and then it’s not funny at all. Masarin takes most things in stride, which is good when you have a barn full of hungry tigers and a giraffe running around stealing beds and destroying garage roofs…
A liberating crazy story, to the delight of new and old readers! Loranga, Loranga was first published in 1970, but is still modern, to say the least, with its playful, life-affirming and absurd characters in an existence without musts and pointers.
This new edition has the same classic illustrations as the original, but now in color for an even more vibrant reading experience.
