Loranga, Masarin & Dartanjang/Loranga, Masarin & Dartanjang

Loranga is an unusual father. He always wants to compete and at all cost win over his poor son Masarin. He lives a pleasant life doing what he likes and things that are fun! Also living in the household is Dartanjang, Loranga’s old father, who lives an extremely varied life. He wakes up every morning with a new identity. One day he’s a plumber, the next Deerfoot, and sometimes he’s himself and then it’s not funny at all. In a pine tree in the forest lives Dartanjang’s grandfather. He is so old that he can only eat seeds and all he can do is crow like a cuckoo…

In Barbro Lindgren’s absurdist cult classic, the reader is introduced to Masarin and his reckless and irresponsible, but oh so likeable father Loranga.

This new edition has the same classic illustrations as the original but is now in colour for an even more vibrant reading experience.
