Agnes often takes the road through the forest, but one day, everything goes wrong. Really wrong. She doesn’t recognize the trees, the stones or the tree stumps, and the path she usually walks seems to have disappeared. Agnes has gotten herself lost!
Luckily, she meets a girl in the middle of the forest. The girl is lost as well and remembers nothing, not even who she is. All she knows is that she has misplaced five magical stones that Agnes must help her find. Agnes agrees to help, but after a while, something feels wrong. Isn’t the girl acting a little strange? How can you just forget everything? Who is the lost girl really, and where does she come from?
Lost is a beautifully illustrated story about facing your fears and finding bravery. The fantastic illustrations create a creeping, gothic horror atmosphere, but also pay a colourful tribute to nature.
