Not Like You/Inte som du

When you’re a girl, you only really need be good at one thing. Boys on the other hand need to be good at everything to even stand a chance. Ester is the most popular girl in school. She’s the captain of the figure skating team, she gets invited to all the parties and she’s surrounded by a group of girls who always have each other’s backs. Vincent is no one special. He plays ice hockey during his free time and he’s working hard to get the best grades in school – so that he can become someone special. But then something happens, something that changes everything. At a party, Vincent gets pulled into a room by Ester’s best friend Amanda. He can’t bring himself to say no, even though he knows what Amanda is like. Not long after, a naked picture of him starts going around the whole school. Suddenly everyone knows who he is. And when Ester and Vincent’s paths cross by chance, everything comes to a head. They both start questioning their choices and their views on society. 

Not Like You is a story about love, betrayal, and choosing between your friends and the person who makes you feel like your heart is going to explode. It’s also a story about power structures being turned upside down. This time it’s girls and women who are running the show, and boys and men are being used and degraded.
