Terrible Things Nobody Can Know: Letters in Blood/Fruktansvärda grejer som ingen får veta: Bokstäver av blod

After surviving their first encounter with the creature, Hedda and Felix can no longer pretend that life normal. Felix is avoiding her, the secret is getting harder to carry, and the evidence points back to books, locked rooms and the adults who know more than they are saying. When the pair break into the headmaster’s office, they find disturbing objects and traces that suggest the attacks are connected to something much older than a school prank. Their search leads them to the City Library and into its closed section, where half a million books are stored underground. The deeper they go, the more certain Hedda becomes that the answer is hidden there. But the archive contains more than files and forgotten volumes. In a hot, filthy basement room full of cages, chains and burned books, something long and powerful is waiting in the ventilation shaft.

Terrible Things Nobody Can Know: Letters in Blood the second book in Terrible Things Nobody Can Know, a six-part horror adventure series where classic literary characters and monsters escape from the books from whence they came. Written by well established author Martin Olczak, and sparsely illustrated by Lina Blixt, the series combines school realism, friendship, first-crush awkwardness, literary mystery, and classic horror chills.
