The Book About Worry/Boken om oro
Many parents (as well as school staff) have long wanted for a book that describes how to help a troubled child. This book is full of tips and strategies, with a language, tone and pictures that are adapted so that children can read by themselves (from about 7 years old), but this book is also for reading together with an adult.
As usual, acclaimed author and psychologist Reyhaneh Ahangaran’s texts are characterized by sensitivity, professional know-how and warmth, and here she gives concrete examples of and advice on different types of anxiety. The aim with this book is to show that it is not strange to feel anxious and that you should always tell someone about your anxiety.
The text is accompanied by whimsical color illustrations from Annika Lundholm Moberg that portray different situations and emotions with tender humor.
